Medical Billing and Collection Services


Medical Billing and AR Follow Up Services:

IDS is currently serving over 500 physicians. We work as the client's offshore team in doing the correct billing and providing the right AR follow-up. We follow and enhance client's systems and processes  with our experience of the industry. Our clients appreciate us bringing value to their systems and processes. Charge Processing for Provider's Office

AAPC certified coders sitting in India help the physician billing by verifying and validating the charges processed in their office in the US. This procedure helps the physician's office achieve correct coding and billing, and also aids in maximizing  payments. 


Medical Record Retrieval

We store and manage patient records and other medical records. We receive these documents from different facilities as an electronic fax; then, we index and store them for future reference.

Augmenting this process is the customer help desk. The agents receive the requests from the physicians and their offices for the medical documents. The agents then establish the request  authorization and help retrieve the data in minutes for the caller. The client benefits from this process immensely as the authorization process has become very effective and patient care has improved substantially. 




Appointment Scheduling for Provider's Office

IDS functions as the customer help desk (front office) for the provider's office. As the process is highly proprietary to each facility, the team has been trained at the client site in the US for over 3 months to learn the process. 

The team takes the incoming requests for appointments, schedules the appointments and confirms the time of visit with the patients. The team handles the queries and gives specific instructions, if any, to the patient for the particular visit. 


Medical Transcription

We transcribe over 1 million lines a month. We have expertise to work on various platforms including client customized applications to Web based ASP. IDS can also provide a comprehensive Medical Transcription Solution package from capturing the voice to delivering the transcribed file.

Our team is comprised of 100 transcriptionists working 24/7. 


Medical Coding
AAPC certified coders provide medical coding services to physician practices as well as hospitals. 

Payor Segment
Providing cost effective solutions 

IDS provides BPO solutions for claims processing and benefit administration. We reduce claims processing costs and streamline benefits administration operations to maximize productivity and profitability for healthcare TPAs, Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), hospitals, managed care networks and self-insured employers.

Data Entry Services: 
IDS Healthcare BPO performs data entry for all HCFA 1500, UB92 (HCFA 1450), ADA Dental, Rx and prescription claims using a dual validation method to ensure 99%+ accuracy. Typical turnaround times for claims adjudication average between 24 and 48 hours.

Re-pricing:
IDS performs re-pricing for clients in a variety of methods, including going directly to third party re-pricing systems, or through ANSI 837 transactions.

Adjudication: 
IDS claims examiners can log into client claims processing systems remotely using VPN, terminal services, or a variety of other remote protocols to perform claims adjudication directly on their system.

EDI Services:
IDS can receive claims sent in HIPAA-compliant ANSI 837 format, then we can convert and upload the claims to clients in the IDS importable format.

Research Segment 

Clinical Data Management: CRF Entry

IDS works with one of the largest global clinical research organization engaged in Phase I to Phase-IV clinical trials having operations in 17 countries to do the 1st Pass and 2nd Pass data entry of Clinical Research Forms.

Along with the data entry services, IDS also participated in the technology establishment with the Client's technical team at the start of the project. Currently the team uses Oracle Financials for the data entry.
